At 1150 m above sea level a wonderful view of the Eisacktal (Vale Isarco) and the distant Dolomites opens up. Here, you can feel the power and extent of nature, particularly in the evening. Dreikirchen means “three churches” and takes its name from the three early Gothic chapels, the origin of which is still lost in the mists of time. Dreikirchen is a car-free zone and closed to general traffic. Leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the valley and arrive by foot or mountain taxi.
